The April 2009 Division 9 Newsletter.
 

The "Oops! Our Editor Is Unavailable" Issue! Topics covered include the clinic topic "Southeast Michigan Free-Mo" presented by Bill Gawthrop and the May operating session on the Operations Road Show layout.

Bill has been a railfan and model railroader since the 1950’s. Bill’s model railroading interest got a boost in 1950 when he received an American Flyer train set for Christmas. He built his first HO scale layout in 1958 and now is building layout number 7. Bill’s Coal and Coke Railroad layout depicts central West Virginia in the mid-1950’s. In addition, Bill became interested in Free-Mo a few years ago and has built four modules thus far. Bill, along with Phil Doolittle, co-leads the Southeast Michigan Free-Mo Group.
